Thread: What's Diablo all about?

I mean I've heard of it since Diablo the first one, but I don't know what it's about? Could you educate a newbie?

It's a hack and slash role playing game in the third person. The game became so popular because there are tons of items and it's addictive when you start trying to find and trade for certain items to make a powerful character.

well, to give the newbie a dose of Diablo. I wouldn't call it a game, but a horror-themed, dark fantasy and action rich role-playing survival experience... you have to try playing one if you want to understand what i mean.
