Every now and then, I sit there at my desk plugged in to the latest and greatest the gaming world has to offer, fragging anything and everything that moves. Staring into kick ass graphics while my ears ring out with true depth 5.1 sound quality..... and I find myself remembering battles gone by, demons slane and devils thwarted. Fireballs cast and beasts summoned. Axe's swung and swords unleashed upon the firey depths of Hell itself.

I hear the Lord of Destruction himself mocking me with devilish laughter, daring me to return to the dungeons and forbidden casms I know so well.

Instantly, as if by magic I am torn assunder from the comfort and depth of modern day graphics and sound, and there I am once again standing in the Rogue Encampment with visions of Hell in my head and a fresh weapon in my hand daring myself to play, just one last time.... just one last time!!

Get ready, for Hell!!

I can truthfully say that no matter what new games I have to play Diablo 2 is my fallback game. I will go on spurts of games but 4 months later I'm back to D2 for a couple months...thanks for the reminder, I have to go refresh my characters!

I quit playing when I forgot to refresh my characters and lost my account. Se la vi

I played over the summer. But as a result of buying extra cd keys and running more then one copy on my computer (Makes it so much easier when you can rush yourself), my account was muted (I think they thought I was running one of the spam bots). So if I can't use a friends list it pretty much takes all the fun out of playing online so I quit playing. I haven't had much time to play any game let alone D2, I may play it again, who knows.

I still play LOD: D2, haven't had much of a chance to play as of late, because I've been playing Fallout 3. But anyone here who still plays should add me to their f/l because no one on my current list is ever on, haha I can't remember but I believe my username is Mario311. Ill check it out and change this post if my username is different.

Wow.. I logged in today to see if my account still worked and somehow my cdkey's have been unmuted. Four out of five of my accounts still work (I think they banned the one I was using when I got muted). Anyways, looks like I might play when I have time during winter break... after I finish my finals and drive home. Unfortunately the account I lost was my rune mule. I think i lost a couple hundred runes..

Yea looks like I didn't sign into my accounts quick enough and now they are gone, bummer. But its ok cause Diablo for some reason runs like crap on Vista. Was thinking about maybe trying d2 classic again.
