Wow, I hope that's not how its going to look...I like the art of the items in Diablo 1 and 2...If they downgrade to these little icons for items and all items are 1x1 space I'm going to be mad.

I'll get over it im sure ^_^

It looks like they're leaning towards the stats being more prevalent than the art concerning loot...I'm not quite sure if I like the DPS being shown, yea it is a helluva lot easier to know which item has more damage output but it looks like it's so you can get to the action faster instead of playing the switcharoo game with 2 items and studying your character stat screen.

Its for the better.. we will all get over it

id really like the ability to customize the apperance of items aswell as the stats they give, kinda like crafting. i know, i know, its WoWish, but i like the chance of making something my own, and not bland.

Crafting was already in D2 before WoW, so it's D2ish, not WoWish.

I'd personally like to see some crafting of some sorts in D3.. However it doesnt have to be all WoWish - just some basic wood chopping, making a bonfire and something like that

Collecting/preparing resources in Diablo - No. Too time intensive and this is an Action-rpg

A quick 1-button action to break down/salvage magical items for parts (like hellgate london but without the clunky interface) - Maybe.

Yeah, and I definitely don't want to see dozens of items added to the game for the sake of having crafting materials. I like that fact that all the materials used in D2 for crafting had other purposes as well.
