Thread: What classes will there be in D3?

Well, let us speculate a little. Besides the barbarian and the witch doctor, what other classes will be in the game?

My votes go to:

1,2: Barb/Witch doctor

3: mage, wizard, sorcerer (there's always one, right?) crossed with the druid
4: knight, paladin, someone in shiny armor that has auras
5: Cross between amazon and assassin

What are your guesses?

i can almost guess the Amazon will be called a Ranger now.

Assassin might be a Thief.

i'd honestly like it if they did Final Fantasy 11's job class thing.


IE: your character would train in any Class but had to start leveling it at level 1. but would retain levels even if class was changed.

I want to see the monk updated from the hellfire expantion

Hopefully the creators of diablo 3 are following the current trends and have added the Night Elf Mohawk class... I know I would if I was them

Night Elf Mohawk FTW. Hmm maybe they'll add a demon or an angel class that would be badass. i know its not D2 style but it would be fun to kill things with a demon or an angel like tyeal , you know you wished to be tyreal at one point.

I'm thinking avenger for paladin or some wacky name.
My guess is that they're keeping like 1-2 original characters and renaming the rest.
