Sorry the diii.net gallery completely was lost save for all the artwork, so all of my links are broken before this post and i wont have any time to repair them all, please check the wallpapers i post form here on as a new gallery was made for them, and my deviant art page still has the standard 1920/2560 sizes i posted.

With the revealing of the female monk i used screen caps to build her up and compile. I saw the one on the site and thought it looked a little smashed.
This one looks a little off still but i think it was best suited for the fiery runes series. I will make a better version when the artwork is officially thrown on the website.
You should also notice the fiery runes. Its the dim runes as a runecircle. I've been meaning to do this lately and they look so different from the old runes. But they don't overwhelm the image from the target that the wallpaper is about.
Sorry the monk is blurry i did the best with what i had for now. Also after this wallpaper I will be posting only two sizes for each wallpaper everyone's computer monitors should be able to resize nicely the 16:9 (2560x1600) and 4:3 (1600x1200) sizes.
Until next time!

Evening all this time around in the wallpapers I decided to use the flash animations from the d3 website for the stances of the monks. Since the concept art didn’t give me what I wanted. Sorry if they are blurry and jaggy in a way, but I did what I could with what I had.
Now then with this wall there were many ways I could have gone with this. One was the golder radiant visage rune from my past wallpapers. That didn’t look so well. I also tried to make the fiery runes gold and that could have worked but was still kinda meh. So in the end I re-used my original black radiant visage rune. Did some radiant blur effects, and changed the color to white and faded it out on top of the des-systema ground graphic. I thought this looked good so I created a lens flare on another image and brought it in and blended it on the top to give that visage that added glow.
I also tried to give the monks a faint white glowing corona/aura effect around them but that just didn’t work for me with what I was using. I also added some light effects on the monks feet like when I did my Inner Sanctuary wall a while back. I will be posting a non fiery runes version of this next week; should there be enough requests.
That is all I have this week please enjoy this wall. Until next time!

Another amazing piece of art from the Diablo 3 Blizzcon 2010 PressKit. Now added to the series for your enjoyment. I'm very happy with how the cut out of this came out just like the Skeleton King one a couple weeks back.
Please Enjoy!

Thirty-three runes and thirty-three wallpapers; Diablo 2‘s runes were 33 strong and that number was important with the 3rd series. It ends as the new year begins. This series was my favorite. Not only due to time I spent on it, but all the changes styles and breakthroughs I’ve done throughout the past 2 years.
The 3rd fiery runes series debuted on December 1st 2008, and with it plans for a very different albeit similar wallpaper series. Improving upon the last two with better quality runes and eventually a higher resolution for me to work with.
This series has been my pride and joy. I’ve taken so many good and bad hits over the years. I almost gave up when I lost my artwork to two hard drive failures. Not only that I also had so many negative comments here and there that my drive started to wane.
As this series ends my plans for the future continue. Will the Fiery Runes Series end? Not likely really; I have more plans that involve it lasting far past the first game and through to its coming expansion(s). My drive now is to have fun with this stuff. If someone doesn’t like my wallpapers then that’s fine if I do this and love doing it then whatever comes afterwards is just awesome.
This is my new year’s gift to the Diablo community. The Original artwork of this version of big red is by the amazing Wei Wang and you can see his artwork on the Sons of Storm website. I have been waiting for this piece to be available for years. What a fitting way to end this series!
Let’s hope this is the year for Diablo III. See you all soon when the next wallpaper series starts. Also this year look forward to my first ever Diablo 3 fan fiction featuring the characters from The Dark Library news posts in: Chronicles of the Dark Library.
Thanks everyone for all the support over the years. Means a lot to me. Gives me the drive to keep going.
