Thread: First Day of D3

Well yeah ladies and gentlemen i do infact realize that the game is still quite some time off, however at my age (22) lets say weeks are starting to feel like minutes.. sad really but w/e, back onto topic...

The date of the release of Diablo 3 is set for September 9th if i recall correctly, I myself have some vacation time which yes i will be using (i am a loser i know...) So all that week i along with many others i would hope, as to not feel too dorky... will be running amuck killing things and such yada yada. Well what i am really here to be about is the fact that private games are ill.... knowing who your playing with in these first begining days could be quite a benefit...

To put it simply i am going to make a game on the solo if i gotta and go through killing every single damn monster clearing every dungeon checking relative exp rates (to find out best places to lvl for later characters) and over all just to have a good time. My line of thinking is this.... myself and 7 others (if the cap is the same) will play as a TEAM omfg a TEAM?!!?!? yeah a team im a barb your a wiz you find a dope axe hook me up i find a dope wand i hook you up. Someone to trust during the begining of the game when lets face it... we will all suck.

As of right now i believe i have 2 of my R/L friends down for it maybe 3 i am making this post basically to see who might be interested in such a venture, start off d3 with wide eyes and a good team so when we do get into rough spots you know your boy has your back. Well i may be crazy but lemme know if your interested in this and if so what class you may wish to use, with that said i realize all classes are not released however i can tell you from past experience my first character most likely will be someone with the teleport ability so i can MF yeah MFING WILL MEAN SOMETHING AGAIN WOOOO HOOOOOOOOOO but yeah holla back.

Depending what's going on at the time I might be down for this sort of thing. I might have 1 or 2 RL friends who will play but not as consistently.

BUT the September 9th release date is just a rumor with a bunch of coincidences so no guarantees of next year.

Oh yea, I'd be playing a wizard.

I plan on taking a week off come release time. I get 5 weeks vacation every october and believe me next year (hopefully it's released late 09 early 10) I will have a week waiting on it. I'd love to have a good SHARING co-op group going. I plan on running a wiz as my first class no matter what classes are released.

When a release date becomes official and it nears that date I'm sure we will have a thread just for forming groups.

I wouldn't doubt that 100% of the people in this forum would 1) call in sick or 2) schedule vacation.

Yea I'd be down for something like that, but I am not really sure I am willing to take off of work for it haha.

like i said we can never start the party early =] and yes though i dont expect all yall to take a week off but hey itd be nice to be non-stand alone in my complex.

In a way I hope its more then two years away. I will be graduating May of 2010, so it it comes out say fall of 2010, assuming I get a job by then, I will at most only have been working there for 4-5 months. Asking for a week off to play a game after such a short period of time might not work out so well. But I guess I can always "get the flu" or something and take a couple sick days when its released.

But at any rate, I will be playing with some friends from my Guild Wars guild that will be playing D3. (Although I have only been able to get into contact with a couple of them, so who knows)
