Well the point of ladder is to start everybody on a level playing field. I think they could make it so if you wanted to keep your character's name you can transfer your items to a non-ladder character n keep the ladder one in the next ladder season. (since they want us to keep our character count low and not create dozens since the leveling will take a bit longer)

Well another thing to note is that data storage doesn't cost as much as it did close to 10 years ago. Also if they are going to tie your cdkey to your account they don't have to worry about people making 10 accounts, they can probably allow you to have a couple dozen characters on the same account... that's assuming they are not going to try to make money off of letting people have additional characters.

I would have to say without items. Maybe allow people to keep their favorite item . Otherwise, just resetting all ladder chars to level 1 and resetting items sounds fair to me. Keep the character name and class on the account so no 1 can steal it.

log in get on get off then on each individual character... its a pain in the ass... but free is better then paying however i WOULD pay if they didnt delete but NOT over 8$ a month.... with that said if you dont pay it gets deleted.... so wtf? i wouldnt pay in the long run so meh... no need to pay when its free and 3 months.... hey 3 months is time enough to get in and on and off and on etc....

Lets keep teh non-ladder part but make it possible to keep one item sounds much better It's enough to restart and collect all the crap, then trade most of it because its not fit for your class(Assa ftw). Dealing with all those scammers....

I kind of got tired of that. Hopefully D3 will have improved. Paying for more char slots sounds like an ok idea.
