Hey i found this interesting article about the talisman feature in diablo 3. Apparently it will allow you to customize your character based on certain attributes/runes.

According to blizzs, its a feature in your character profile where you can customize your character. The purpose of the talisman

I think this is an awsome way to contribute to the uniqueness of characters and duels.

what do u guys think?

i dont really know what im looking at or what it does... but it sure does look nifty!

Post a link to the article, please? I think we'll be able to 'socket' our skills with runes to add special effects... I think something like putting in a 'multiple hit' rune into lightning creating a chain lightning spell.

I'm looking forward to modifying actual spells to suit our play-style

yeah gimmie a link or i call bologna on that guy.... but yo customization is dire in d3 i dont want my zon looking like every other zon because we all use the same 160/60 armor and bow and etc.... gimmie a slut a zon with some jet black hair and a d rack so i can watch em jiggle as i stab things... or shoot em... w/e

Dont quote me on this but word on the grapevine; is that due to the removal of stats (they are now auto distributed) Blizzard's implementation of the skill rune sytem (here is a perfect video demonstration Viddler.com - Diablo 3: The Wizard - Uploaded by Joystiq)
utiziles a talisman for different effects and here is the big one! runeword skills, buy placing certain rune's into the talisman to enhance ur skills u can create more powerful potent ones by creating a runeword i.e multistrike with power and strike would make a big nova of magic damage when u teleport. Of course this is all sceptisism but does seem probable. Again dont quote me on this!

Oh and Vash teh OG customization in terms of appearance is massive in D3, evidence is the simple fact that u could now have a female barb, and every peice of armour and weapon customizes the way it looks depending on ur gender and class

I like the video but I wanna see some real info on the talismans/ runes
