Adding onto this, a spot where people suggest what kind of build the item is best for (fcr, leech, brute force...etc) or maybe that would be in the comment section. I think with all these suggestions there should be a moderator or 2 that goes through items and makes an 'official' note from the feedback and ratings that items get.
Do you really want to deal with $ here? personally if I wanted to purchase items in-game I would go to an online store and do it that way. the iTrader will be a great ebay-like rating system and posting trades in the forums works out well enough with the 'bidding' system.
Though I really do like the bidding system...What I think will happen if d3bazaar has a bidding area is somebody will take advantage of the pre-built framework and basically setup shop and sell lots of items for cheap...pushing out everybody else. It makes it harder to make yourself a store if you have to setup a post each time you want to sell an item then answer PMs for each item.
Then again we can always have a mod regulate this stuff...now I don't know what way I think..
The below statement is true.
The above statement is false.
A mod is a must to regulate trade and oversee the whole operation to prevent scamming and bots etc. Also there must be a mod to resolve issues if the trade goes sour, i.e the old trade scam "yeah give it to my zon now and ill come in with my mule and pay u because i cbf transfering over from mule to zon" gets item and never returns, people like this must incur a permenant ban from the baazar if it is to remain effective.
I wasnt supporting money trades SirLaughAlot i was just asking if they will be in out of interest
Oh and about people setting up shop and selling items for cheap, that is natural economics my friend haha there is no way to stop it, since D3 will be a free market and sellers will be price takers to the economy, that is they will always lower the price to compete with others until it becomes un-economical. When it does that will be the price for the item and no1 will pay anything different. Also even if people set up shop there will be hundreds of others with the same item, effectively making it infinite supply and hence a pre-determined set price by demand patterns, SO... one person cannot dominate the market place![]()
