Thread: How far Diablo 3 is being done.

Diablo 3 needs to finish the Following:

make more characters
make more besitary and bosses
finish the map, places, towns, people, storyline, quests
make a pk system
polish the game
publish the game
------
Start fixing bugs and making patches
Start building Diablo 3 expansion pack

This will take a while. Those who beleive this dol rune crap, forget that. Those who think its coming out in a few months forget that. The most legit theries i have heard was in December 2009, which is 1 1/2 years from when D3 was uneveiled. This is more accurate although it may come out later in mid 2010

You can't forget about creating the non random items (set, unique, whatever types they choose to have), as well as things like trade system, ladder system (if they will have one).. Also a lot of balancing and testing phases.

I don't think 2009 is going to happen, 2010 might be optimistic. Blizzard has said they are going to take their time.. its not unheard of for a game to be in development for 3-4 years before its finally released. Team Fortress 2 was in development for 8 years after it was announced...

At any rate, D3 will be released when its released, all that speculation is going to do it drive people crazy and spread rumors. Normally I would say for myself I find it easier to not think about it so I can keep it off my mind, but I don't think in this case its possible...

found a free rpg games called Requiem: Bloodymare, not to drop names or anything, but its doing a good job at keeping me occupied. if any of you decide to play it, send me a message and ill add you to friends.

Blizzard is probably focusing more on the design of the game right now. What leads me to believe this is that all their job openings are graphics related.

I don't want to wait until 2010 for this game.
