Thread: Is the new Diablo 3 Version better than Blizzard's?

I am so excited about Diablo 3 and it is just soooo hard to wait for it. The screenshots are simply amazing but I guess they just weren't up to expectations for some of the fans, so they made some a few adjustments.

Blizzard didn't really like the new images and explained why, but they should really consider the fans in such a decision, for we are the ones who will be playing it. I agree that the fan's retouch is much more in the mood of previous Diablo instalments. Unfortunately this issue presents some major problems. The artists that created this game undoubtedly feel that they have created a masterpiece or else they wouldn't have presented it. Further, they must have designed it this way with a specific purpose in mind that may not be fully apparent to us at this time. At the same time, fans do make the game succesful or unsuccesful with purchases and peer recomendations. I honestly feel that we as fans and critics are going to have to let this one play out. Agree or not?

i don't like the Fans retouches. i think what Bliz released and will release will be just fine.

I agree with Caestus. I'm looking at the fans retouch on a flat panel monitor and all I can make out is the barbarian. If i'm paying for a game I at least want it to be seen on the entire screen not just the circle that my character lights in the center

i completely agree with you on the need to be able to see with the entire screen, i personally would prefer a darker atmosphere however. maybe if they could go somewhere in between the two people would accept the compromise.

I hope it's mixed. i want things to be mixed up a bit. I do love a bit of the new colors but i also want something dark and creepy.

I like the style of D3 alot where you can actually tell apart monsters not like in d2 oh now im fighting the purple blob instead of the red one. it seem slike the people who made those screenshots dont want diablo 3 they just want another d2 expansion

I know I have already said this once before but the new color scheme just gives me a Warcraft 3 feeling and I'm not sure I can settle for that.

i think this dead horse has been beat enough already. lol.
